1. Each player has 7 letter tiles plus 1 blank in their rack. A blank is available every turn.
2. The first player lays any valid word, playing left to right from the first square.
3. Each new word must begin with the ending of the previous word, using any number of its letters (eg. "TIME" + "EK" = "MEEK").
4. At least 2 tiles must be laid.
5. Colour squares double the word score.
6. Using all 8 tiles doubles the word score.
7. Tursn can be passed (via Stuck button).
8. The last letter of the previous word can be swapped once per game (via Stuck button).
9. The game ends when the board is full or after three consecutive passes.
10. Highest score wins when the game ends.
Werger is a word merge game, designed to be simple but deceptively strategic. It is early stages, but growing by the day.
